Alchimia began in 1965 as a family business in Italy and now is run by the third generation, brother and sister team, Giacomo and Beatrice. Alchimias philosophy is entirely Italian, starting from the in-house design, the research of raw materials including all leathers, nylon (same as Prada!), cotton linings and hardware as well as the manufacturing process with all the bags being made in Bologna, Italy.
