Giraudon Engineer in Black

Made in Portugal. We used to call this Giraudon classic the "Dayna Boot" because I wore mine so much in Seattle, but we have now renamed it "The Engineer." This beloved favorite is a go-to, tank of a boot that is so well-crafted it will last and last. (I think mine are 8 years old, at least!) It looks wonderfully edgy with skirts and dresses, and, needless to say, it's terrific with jeans. But the best thing about the Engineer is it's so, so, so comfortable! The leather-lined upper and padded footbed baby your soles and just get better with wear. Meanwhile, the rubber lug sole lets you walk pretty much anywhere you want to go without a care in the world!
